Hexagram 14 ~~ Possession in Great Measure

             Overview

     Possession means any
improvement in attitude or
circumstances. When we are
poised, self-controlled, and
inner-dependent (relying on
our inner power, not outer),
we then unconsciously manifest and share
the limitless Abundance of the Higher Power.

Implications for today: Abundance lies at the heart of the Occupy Wall Street movement. The 1 % with unbalanced abundance are not sharing, nor are they creating from inner-dependence.

QUESTIONS
1) How can I improve my ability to
increase abundance
in a balanced way?
2) What in my life is blocking abundance?

3) How is my ego getting in
the way of my abundance?

 Three Important Considerations

  On Possession in Great Measure

 FIRST CONSIDERATION

We must have an outer vehicle (wagon) to load material goods.
We also have an inner one which offers inspired ideas that can
convey our inner feelings and desires. Avoid ego and make a
balanced plan and dedicate yourself to the Spirit of Heavan
if you want lasting success.

Examples  of how the ego can
wreck our efforts.

Which one(s) do you identify with?

Pushing too Hard / Going too Fast
Anxiety and Anger

Drowning  / Watered-down Effort

  Greed

Over Shooting / Over Ambitious

Stuck in the past results
 in outdated equipment and/or
ways of doing things

Over-sized ego

Overestimating our Means and/or Abilities

Rushing Home to Get Dinner On
Multi-Tasking (look closely)

                              What does success look like?

Ahhh, now that's more like it.

Second Consideration
Know that possessions in great measure  must be placed at the disposal of the people at large. This is the right attitude toward material goods, because private property can not endure. A wealth, petty, or greedy person is incapable of this.

Andrew Carnegie understood this principle. A poor Scottish immigrant
considered the second richest man after Rockefeller.
Yet, with his fortune he turned to philanthropy exhibiting the
heart of this lesson..
Andrew Carnegie
He donated most of his money––not a mere 10% tithe––to
established libraries, schools, and universities
in the U.S., U.K., Canada, and other countries.
Heaven has no national bounds.

Third Consideration

This is the birth of a new destiny.

In the fullness of possession at the
height of our power, we must remember to give
honor to the Sage or our higher power.

This places us in the correct position to be
protecrted by Heaven.

What more can be said?
An ego-less offering.

SUMMARY*
Outer/Inner Balance
Great force concentrates within, spreading brightness
and warmth in the outer world. This is a time of
great abundance.
HIdden Potential
Clear and decisive action
Ideal and Shadow
Think of this as a time to retire from usual
thoughts and actions.
What you need is hidden within.
